The 2nd Polygon International Bike design Competition 2011

Jakarta, 23 Mei 2011 - The 2nd Polygon International Bike Design Competition 2011 is open. To apply, please read terms and conditions below:

• Requirement: original, innovative, usable design and comply with technical requirements.
• Participant could be Individual or group (3 person max)
• Each individual/group will be requested to submit max. 3 works on A3 paper
• Each participant will be requested to submit:

            a. Design Concepts,
            b. Dimensions/Line Drawings,
            c. Rendered image of the product and the operational

• The jury consist of international designers, bike engineers, media and lifestyle experts. The jury will select 16 finalists (final phase) and 3 winners (winner phase).
• Favorite winner is by internet polling
• Finalist will be announced on 10 October 2011, and the winners on 17 November 2011

Polygon Make Race Challenge at Surabaya

On Sunday morning May 22, 2011 held at Garden International Mango Hill Golf Citraland, Surabaya, again held the event Polygon Polygon One Make Race Challenge. The event this time held in Surabaya, since morning at 06.00 AM already started to rang by the bikers who prepare themselves to follow the competition Polygon One Make Race Challenge.

Polygon One Make Race Challenge this time melombakan several classes of two race categories, ie XC and Dual Slalom Race. Each category melombakan several classes, namely:

Cross Country Race:

- Junior / Student

- Master A

- Master B

- Men Open

- Woman Open

  Dual Slalom Race:

- Youth

- Junior

- Advance

Committee Polygon One Make Race Challenge prepare a special time for formal training that was held the day before. The bikers take this opportunity to try to track XC or Dual Slalom, either to memorize the route, and prepare a strategy. So even during the day, the Bikers are willing to come early to warm up.

The race participants came mostly from outside Surabaya, from Jakarta, Tangerang, West Java, Malang, Pomorogo, Bojonegoro, and Balikpapan. Mileage is contested from the category Cross Country is the route of 2.5 km per lap. While for each class consists of class A by 5 laps Masters, Masters B class of 4 laps, 4 laps Woman class, Junior class as much as 3 laps, and the Open Man class of 7 laps. Medan is taken not by a lot of climbs but clay characters make selection of tires to be precise. As for the category of Dual Slalom has a 300 meter distance of the terrain through a small obstacle and 4 a big obstacle.

Funbikeof family cycling Gresik 2011

Carrying more than 6 thousand cyclists packed the street in front of city hall plaza Gresik, East Java. Thousands of participants is a participant Funbike Family Cycling 2011 which be held FORMI Gresik. Funbike is an annual event to commemorate the city of Gresik. The participants seemed very enthusiastic to join the event which showcases a healthy cycling routes around the city.

Before being released by the vice-regent Gresik at 6:30 am, the committee provides entertainment for the participants with the attractions and cheersleader lion dance in front of the start line. Attraction is certainly add to the spirit for the participants to immediately start riding a bicycle.

By 9 am, one by one participant began to arrive back at the start-finish area. While waiting for the door prize draw, some participants also appeared to stop at various booths of sponsors. Light Rays polygon represented as a dealer Polygon to the region of Gresik, was present in this row of dozens of booths sponsored by displaying various kinds of bicycles and a variety of parts and accessories for cycling.

The Summit was marked by the transfer of tens funbike prize. Polygon also supporting this event by providing as many as 7 units MTB bikes and dozens of merchandise as prizes and door prize. Number of prizes provided by the allure of city residents flock Gresik to participate in this funbike

Funbike in Celebrite of Dies Natalis Ubaya 2011

Funbike is organized within the framework of Dies Natalis Universitas Surabaya (Ubaya) fell right on 15th May 2011. The event supported by Polygon is packed with cyclists from various clubs and bicycle community in Surabaya and Sidoarjo.

Start Ubaya opened by the Rector, on at 6:00 am in front of the campus Ubaya, Mulyosari. After the start, all participants revolved around the region east of Surabaya. After that the participants are pampered by the entertainment provided by the committee in the form of musical entertainment from local bands. While waiting for the draw prize moments, some participants also had the opportunity to visit several booths that provide food and sponsor booths including Polygon by Rodalink Rungkut.

Interest of the citizens of Surabaya to follow this funbike very high. It was evident from the number of participants who joined this funbike. Feminim Bike at Kompas Women Fiesta

 

Compass again successfully held events in Gandaria City on Sunday, May 29, 2011 yesterday. Compass Event Fiesta Women held for 3 days - in succession, since the date 27 May to 29 May 2011. Women Kompas Kompas Gramedia Fiesta is devoted to the women.

Compass Women's top event Fiesta is a special joint funbike women on May 29, 2011, named Fembike Compass Women Fiesta 2011. About 900 women participated in the Women Compass Fembike Fiesta 2011 which was held Kompas Gramedia Group. Cycling event for women that starts at 07.00.

The participants with the Heroine FEM bike cycling bicycle Polygon Indonesia and MTB athletes, Kusmawati Yazid, along the route about 90 miles. FEM bike route is Gandaria City to Park Ayodya, Puring Park, to Senayan, Ratu Plaza, Senayan City, Pakubuwono, returned to Gandaria City.

Fun Bike Summarecon

Summarecon bersama Polygon menggelar acara fun bike Summarecon pada tanggal 28 Mei 2011. Acara yang bertempat di Summarecon Mall Serpong ini diikuti oleh ribuan peserta yang datang dari berbagai tempat.

Acara fun bike dimulai pada pukul 07.00 WIB. Fun bike dibuka oleh para petinggi Summarecon. Fun bike berlangsung selama 2 jam dengan rute mengitari perumahan Summarecon Gading Serpong. Setelah fun bike, para peserta fun bike dihibur oleh aksi dari Polygon BMX Team dan hiburan musik. Di puncak acara, peserta fun bike dimanjakan dengan pembagian doorprize dengan total puluhan juta rupiah. Polygon memberikan support 8 sepeda MTB untuk doorprize.

Fun Bike in Hut IDI

Fun bike that was held by the Indonesian Doctors Association was quite festive. Located in Monument, on May 29, 2011 was attended by around 600 participants fun bike. This event is going pretty quick, solid and attractive. Participants fun bike enlivened by music and trial bike.

Fun bike starts at 07.00 pm and was opened by the Chairman of the IMA itself. All participants who attended the community consists of several bikes that come from Jakarta and surrounding areas.
